I've been an animal lover since I was a child and have years of experience working with animals of all sizes. I have a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Honours) and have worked at many animal facilities. I have in the past volunteered at Cat Protection Society and Sydney Dogs and Cats Home helping with the day to day care of cats and dogs (socialising, cleaning, feeding, walking). I have also fostered kittens with Cat Protection Society for years, often looking after sick kittens (eg. those with pneumonia or ring worm) or those that needed a boost in socialisation skills prior to adoption. 

I have a house and two adopted 1.5 year old cats. One enjoys harnessed walks while the other loves trick training time (at the moment he’s accomplished jumping through an arm loop, fist bump, high five, low five and weaving). I'd love to help look after your cat/s during your holidays so you can enjoy your time away. I will look after them as if they are my own and provide plenty of updates to put your mind at ease. I currently work part time so will have plenty of time to give your cat the attention it needs.

After having cat sit a number of cats, I understand that many cats can be wary being away from home. I offer your cat their OWN room where they can retreat to if needed to feel more comfortable or if they do not wish to interact with our two cats. Or, if they are more enthusiastic they can certainly come out around the house and spent more time with me and be doted on :) 

To me, enrichment is very important to a cat's well being. That's why I will offer them ample play time and take them outside for a leashed walk if they enjoy doing so. I highly recommend you provide your cat's own litter and food during their stay. This is because a cat can feel stressed out of their home and even if they normally eat well they may be more hesitant at my house. Providing their regular food and litter will help them to feel more at ease.
